【the problem of eroticizing sexual abuse in media】
For Oculus Quest 2 users who have the problem of eroticizing sexual abuse in mediafriends or family, it's time to celebrate.
That's because Oculus confirmed Thursday that the ability to log multiple Facebook accounts into one headset will start rolling out immediately to Quest 2 owners, with Quest 1 support coming later. To go along with that is the ability for the headset's main account holder to share any apps or games they own with other accounts on that headset, meaning those other people don't need to buy Beat Saberif it's already on the system.
There are, of course, a few limitations to this. The admin account (belonging to the device's owner) can only add three more profiles to a Quest 2 headset, so bigger families might need to figure out a sharing plan. Everyone also needs to provide their own individual Facebook login. The last big one is that app sharing only applies to that specific Quest 2 device; in other words, if you play a game like Beat Saberthat was granted to you via app sharing, you won't suddenly own it if you log into that Facebook profile on a different Quest 2 headset.
Oculus is calling these "experimental features" for now, which means the aforementioned rules are subject to change. Regardless, the addition of multi-user support on Oculus Quest 2 is a big one. Until now, you had to run a factory reset just to log into another account on a Quest 2. Maybe someday it won't require a Facebook login.
