Google and Watch Private Video Magazine 7Snap, Inc. are apparently buddies now, because the Pixel 6 comes with a new Snapchat feature built into the phone.

Snap CEO Evan Spiegel showed up at Google's Pixel launch event on Tuesday to introduce "Quick Tap to Snap."

At the event, Google debuted two new phones, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The Android devices come with a dynamic and widget-filled AI, a bevy of neat photo features, and a physical camera design that should have Apple thinking, "Huh, why didn't we come up with that?"

Spiegel explained that accessing your camera super fast is important to Snapchatters, so they can capture those ridiculous moments in a flash. Or, if you're Snapping up a storm all the time, maybe you get tired of unlocking your phone a lot.

Enter: Quick Tap to Snap. With the Pixel 6, you can just double-tap the back of your phone — yep, the back, not the screen — and the Snapchat camera will open immediately.

This might not sound so secure, but all you'll have access to is the Snapchat camera, not personal information or anything else on your phone. To actually send your Snap, you'll need to unlock your phone to get to the send screen.
