Book lovers, watch free movies online | Adult Movies Online prepare to put an offer down on The Bookshelf House.
Formally a dark space in bad condition, Italian architect Andrea Mosca transformed the French residence's interior into a sun-drenched home, housing hundreds of books around a functional living space.
The Bookshelf House was created for a family of five who fell in love with a prodigious bookshelf. It "was simple," Mosca told Mashable in an email, "but made [up] almost the length of the room."

"After some tests, I decided to imagine a standard bookshelf element that could populate the space, playing different roles when needed," Mosca continued.

Just outside of Paris, The Bookshelf House earns its name from the multipurpose bookshelves that separate rooms, hide old columns and became stair bannisters.
"The first wood element starts on the first floor stepping up on the stair and becoming the railing on one side, and the main bookshelf on the other," Mosca explained.

"It continues on the mezzanine, becoming the railing again, and a storage element on the other side," the architect continued.
The versatile bookcases serve as the focal points of the space, guiding the, "circulations and movements between...various volumes."

Constructed from light beech wood, the bookcases' staggered placement intrigues the eye and, against the white-painted wood floor, creates ,"a relaxing and warm environment," Mosca explains.
