But one of the most surprising reactions came from The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah, who called Streep's speech "tone-deaf" last night.

"You don’t have to make your point by shitting on someone else’s thing, because a lot of people love football and the arts.”
Surprisingly though, Noah failed to address Trump's response to the speech until briefly in a later segment of his show.
Noah's reaction only further proves that Streep's speech, though inspiring to some, was seen as harmful and divisive to others on both sides of the political spectrum.
