The Meleesingles bracket was full of upsets. SilentWolf sent Mew2King to the loser's bracket in the second round of the winners bracket, only to lose to Ice. Ice defeated SFAT, then lost to Mango and Armada, placing third overall, which is a good result for the player who doesn't typically place in the top five of larger events.

In his first U.S. tournament since first having visa issues in 2015, Leffen did not perform great, placing between 17th-24th after losing to Gahtzu and Swedish Delight.
In Wii Usingles, ZeRo once again walked away as champion of The Big House, defeating Anti with his signature Diddy Kong main against Anti's Mario and Cloud.
SFAT and PewPewU won Meleedoubles, defeating last year's champions Armada and his brother Android in the finals. ZeRo took home a second championship on Sunday, winning the Wii Udoubles with Nairo, beating Ally and Mew2King in the finals.
Meanwhile in crew battles, SoCal's Meleecrew dominated with players Mango, Westballz, S2J, Lucky and MacD. Japan won the Wii Ucrew tournament with players Abadango, Kameme, Komorikiri, Shogun and Kie.
Prize pools and winnings for the different tournaments have not been announced yet, as they were raised by fans who purchased items or donated to the event.
