【Watch Dark Desire Season 1 Online】
Cosplaying is Watch Dark Desire Season 1 Onlinean art.
Cosplaying involves more than just putting on a costume -- dedicated artists often spend hours designing custom outfits and creating handmade pieces. They can put together stunning looks like this:
Or if you're Julianna Maznevski, you might put together nightmarish creations like this hyperrealistic mashup of Nigel Thornberry and Sailor Moon, which she made for Anime North.

"I love the ridiculous memes of Nigel Thornberry as random characters, so I knew I wanted to do one of those," Maznevski said through Instagram DM.
She's referring to the GIFs that plop the goofy dad from the old Nickelodeon show The Wild Thornberrysonto classic Disney characters, like this one of poor Belle:
Via Giphy"I chose Sailor Moon because I was wearing it to an anime convention," she said, "And I figured that would be the most worn costume there." Maznevski called her Thornberry mask a "funny twist" on the popular costume.
Funny or absolutely horrifying?
During the convention, someone kept trying to get their niece or daughter to take a photo with Maznevski, but the poor girl kept running away from her.
"I felt so bad but it was really funny," Maznevski said.
Cut the girl some slack -- who wouldn't run way from this massive smile?
Note: Maznevski included the hashtag "#sexycosplay" in this Instagram post.

Maznevski has been working on the Nigel mask since February. She was experiencing an artistic block and decided to sculpt something that would make her laugh. She started with clay rendition of his face, and then made a silicone mold so that it would be wearable.
"This sculpture I've been working on slowly for a while though because it just became the project I worked on whenever other projects were being frustrating," Maznevski explained. "You can't not step back and laugh at yourself every once in a while when you're sculpting something as ridiculous as realistic Nigel Thornberry."
Somehow, the in-progress photos of the mask are even more alarming than the finished product.

Seriously, these fake eyeballs will probably haunt your dreams for the next few years.

Has this toothless silicone been hiding in your closet and watching you sleep? Probably.

Although the sculpting took a while, Maznevski said that she was able finish the mask about a week after the silicone set.
Her other prosthetic creations include the Beast from Beauty and the Beastand the "judgmental fish nun" that cared for Kylo Ren in The Last Jedi.

But her passion lies in creating strange mashups of characters. Maznevski added little Nigel Thornberry-esque noses to tiny fake birds and plans on dressing up as some kind of twisted Snow White. She also wants to make a Spirited Awaymask in the style of Guillermo del Toro, who directed The Shape of Waterand Pan's Labyrinth.

She's entirely self-taught and has never made elaborate costumes professionally, but plans on continuing her craft in school. She was recently accepted into the Greater Brighton Metropolitan College to study prop making and special effects in the theater department. Maznevski's program starts in the fall, but until then she plans on making more creations.
"I'm definitely just learning and figuring things out as I go," she said.
Considering she doesn't even have formal training yet, Maznevski definitely has a talent for sculpting the weird and unsettling. We can't wait to see what other blood curdling creations she comes up with next!
