At one point Trebek jokes about going to the commercials to temper the extreme awkwardness of the situation (and maybe to defuse his own incredulous response!)

I'm sure everyone would've gotten those questions correct and no one can relate to these "nerds." Especially the question about tossing one sportsball to the other team, and then what the other team does to keep the team from putting the sportsball in the goal for a point.
