【Frivolous Lola】
We still don't know when the final season of Game of Throneswill air,Frivolous Lola which means we have plenty of time to revisit all the big twists of Season 7 while we wait.
HBO plans to distract us from our clock-watching with eight fan screenings taking place in three cities (New York, Chicago and Los Angeles) this winter, with the most action-packed episode of Season 7 getting the big screen treatment.
SEE ALSO: 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 will be 'the greatest thing that’s ever aired on TV'In episode 4, "The Spoils of War," Daenerys brings her dragons and Dothraki hordes to Westeros for the first time in a stunning attack against Jaime Lannister's forces, and you knowyou want to see Drogon and Dany laying waste to the Lannister army on the biggest screen possible.
In addition to a full screening of the episode, HBO will also present one of the exclusive bonus features from the Blu-ray and DVD release of Season 7, Conquest and Rebellion, described as "a 45-minute animated story of the turbulent events that shaped Westeros."
The iconic Iron Throne and Dany's (less cool but still awesome) Dragonstone throne will also be available at each screening location so you can channel your inner king or queen, along with a replica of Dragonstone's map table. Fans must be at least 18 to attend and need to preregister here for access. The event will open three hours before each screening begins so that fans have time to work their way through the various photo opps onsite.
One catch: The screenings are only available to fans who bring their Season 7 DVD or Blu-ray or proof of purchase with them, since the event is being launched in conjunction with the home video release of Season 7 on Dec. 12.
