A program called Looksee Wellington is giving 100 people free flights and accommodation to check out the city for a week. But there's a catch.

The city is home to companies like accounting software group Xero and Weta Digital, who did the visual effects inAvatarand Lord of the Rings.
They're looking to fill roles in software development, as well as hiring new digital producers and creative directors. At the end of the week, you'll get a job offer from one of the companies.
Granted, it is an unconventional way of trying to attract top talent. But Wellingtonis pretty nice, being surrounded by cool mountains AND it's the craft beer capital of the country, in which hipsters abound.
If you're interested, just create a profile on the LookSee website. Then, Wellington employers will nominate their chosen candidates, and those with the highest number of nominations will be selected to fly to Wellington.
